Diode lasers were commonly used in the field of therapeutic treatment for pain relief, wound healing or the like, while CO2 laser enjoyed the first choice for surgery. Unlike CO2 laser, the diode laser beam is transmitted through an optical fiber. This means that the laser beam can be delivered through rigid or flexible endoscopes. Output power of 15 W covers almost all the procedures for small animals. By processing the fiber tip by Asuka Fiber Pot has made it possible to perform surgeries commonly performed by CO2 laser. We have also developed various metal probes to respond to the demands from veterinarians.
